”Happier Days with Rio” 

Elrod was stolen off the front porch of Wild Mountain Outfitters on Thursday afternoon. We have not recieved a ransom note. A reward has been offered of $25 leading to the return of Elrod. Please make a note that we will prosecute the thief under the full extent of the law, which in Santa Fe will probably be picking up dog poop in the park. Elrod!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Blah Blah Blah, We won not without bitter retaliation. Elrod, the stuffed dog as seen in this photo was kidnapped at 3:59pm by person or persons unknown. Please leave him unharmed in front of the store tommorrow. We will pay the ransom.

    It’s off to college for this one. Thanks for helping out even if you are slacking off in Costa Rica right now!

     We are looking for that special person to fill the gap left by our former employees as they leave to have fun. Must be a multi-tasker, dog loving internet geeking gear freek that has a trust fund somewhere so that they can goof off in Santa Fe and we don’t have to pay them a real wage kind of person. Interested parties please show up on our doorstep so Janet and I can leave again for another river trip. Ask for Rio, he will be your interviewer.

    We have escaped again to the river! The Rio Chama has a little water in it. Off we went last weekend to find some way to renew and relax. It was all that and one of the worst hailstorms I have been hit on river with in years. It definately put the DWR coating to a test on our old rain gear. Nothing like trying to scout a rapid, and try to see through the rain and hail. Needless to say, we can’t wait to get back outside. Not this weekend though, talking about holiday madness that is.
