Wild Mountain Outfitters and High Desert Angler have announced their plans to relocate to 453 Cerrillos Road, the building formerly occupied by Sew Natural Creative Textiles, in mid May 2006. This complementary combination of businesses will create a unique center for outdoor expertise and gear in the heart of downtown Santa Fe.

Wild Mountain Outfitters and High Desert Angler, locally owned independent businesses known for their personalized service, innovative outdoor products and expert employees, have been Santa Fe institutions for years. High Desert Angler offers top-of-the line fly-fishing gear and guided fishing tours. Wild Mountain Outfitters specializes in hard-to-find gear and clothing for hiking, backpacking, rafting, and backcountry skiing and snowshoeing – for both people and dogs.

The combination of these two well-respected businesses will create a unique outdoor center benefiting both locals and visitors who want to enjoy New Mexico’s wilderness. In one stop, a customer can be completely outfitted with the best quality equipment and set up with a guided fly fishing, hiking, or rafting adventure.
The cozy atmosphere of the new locations also provides a home-away-from-home for the outdoor-minded folk who want the latest information and expertise on gear from the people who know.

Both businesses plan to open just prior to the Memorial Day weekend. Wild Mountain extends an invitation to all of Santa Fe’s outdoor community to join us in celebrating this change for the better.

    Well, finally we can shout it from the rooftops. We are moving the store to a great new location at the end of May. We will be moving to 453 Cerrillos Road. Stay tuned for the Moving Sale on Saint Michaels Drive and Grand Opening in the new space.
